This textile is English or American and printed on linen, circa 1930's, 40's. The textile's muted shades of brown, rose, blue and gold have been paired with a 19th century Scottish linen for this hand-made pillow.  A large shell button closes the back of the pillow. The tassels are created by hand, and made from vintage cotton string balls to give this otherwise traditional textile an irreverent twist.
