This hand-woven 19th Century textile was used to present a gift.  It is woven with indigo and natural color linen.  The simplistic integrity of the textile is preserved with the use of an antique French linen to create the Gift from Sumatra pillow.  Large tassels, hand-crafted with indigo and natural linen yarns are anchored on each of the pillow's four corners.  Shell button are used to close the back of the pillow.
